- Is there a better mount for the 700i? The one that came with mine absolutely will not stay up in my windshield. It has a magnetic mount once you put it in the windshield but the suction is awful and it falls off all the time.
- Thank you for your question. The RAD 700i is only compatible with the EZ Mag Mount, but it is quite durable. If the mount starts to lose its stickiness, you can restore the adhesive by running it under warm water, removing any dirt or debris, and allowing it to air dry.
- With the suction cup mount that standard comes with 480i, it is virtually impossible to engage the disconnect button on the detector to release detector from mount. Does this upgrade mount allow for easier dis-engagement ?
