Wish High/Low/Med settings wouldn't keep changing
"It's a good unit except that every time I start the car I have to reset it to my last sensitivity setting (Medium). It always defaults back to Low. I called Cobra & they told me that's the way it is. Also the brightness always defaults back to low. I wish it would stay High. Sometimes I can't tell if the unit's on while I'm driving."

- I was trying to register an older device I no longer have the box there are 3 sets of numbers on the bottom of it I’m trying to figure out if any of them are the serial #
- Hi Brandy, The serial numbers for the RAD 450s should start with a "B0"
- Does this detector have camera capabilities?? I have an old Cobra model XRS9550G and that had a camera plug in..
- No, it does not. You might want to check out the Road Scout that has a built in dash cam! Thanks!
- Packaging states it is compatible with smartphone using IRadar, how do you connect the detector to the app? I’ve registered my detector, and going through the site there are other pages for the defender and elite registrations for the app but I’ve been stuck.
- The Rad 450 does not connect to Iradar; However, the Irad does, as it has Bluetooth. You may want to exchange it or just run the app independently. Thanks!
- Is it battery powered as well. If not why is there not a USB power option?
- The RAD 450 is not battery powered. It requires you to connect into your 12V adapter. Standard USB is not powerful enough to manage this device.
