Does what it says it will do!
I bought this about a month ago. I figured it would be great for on the road and emergencies and also camping trips for charging electronic. When my truck battery died, I hooked it up and was expecting it not to work. As soon as I turned the key the engine turned over like the battery was never dead at all!!! The truck started right up. I love this product and have it in my vehicle at all times. The car charger doesn't seem to work so I called Cobra and they sent me another one in the mail yesterday-no hassles. Hopefully the new car charger will fix this problem when it arrives. I just wish it came with a carrying case. I keep it in the box it was packaged it and that works fine.

Works Great !!
I plugged it in the minute I got it - but it was already charged - 4 blue lights. So, I used it to start my Acura MDX that hadn't been started in more than a month. The battery was so dead that the power door locks didn't even work. The MDX fired up instantly, like the battery was fully charged. The security alarm went off on the MDX, with the horn honking loudly, so I ran back in the house, got my spare key, and turned it in the driver's side door lock. The keys are programmed, so that shut off the the security alarm. The jumpack still has (4) blue lights - it's ready to go again without recharging - amazing.

My first one successfully started my dead Suburban. Once. And self-destructed in the process. The warranty replacement lasted a little longer, not much. The battery pack itself may very well be a solid product, but the jumper cable assembly is absolute garbage. It cannot handle the current needed to start a dead car in a Montana winter, obviously. I would be truly shocked (pardon the pun) if this thing came anywhere close to the 200A advertised, and the 400A peak??? I'm guessing that's measured in terms of milliseconds at best. If Cobra can replace that cable assembly with something actually reliable, they might have a good product. But as it is now, it's just a paperweight and a lousy flashlight

POWERFUL AND COMPACT
WE BOUGHT THE COBRA JUMPACK 7500 A COUPLE MONTHS AGO, WE STOPPED AT A TRUCK STOP ON INTERSTATE 5 IN WASHINGTON STATE FOR LUNCH AND A PERSON DRIVING A LARGE OLDER U-HAUL TRUCK ASKED IF WE HAD SOME JUMPER CABLES, I USED OUR COBRA JUMPACK 7500 ON IT AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP, WHEN WE GOT HOME I PLUGGED IT IN TO RECHARGE IT, IT ONLY TOOK A FEW MINUTES TO RECHARGE BECAUSE HAD ALL BLUE LIGHTS ON EXCEPT FOR THE LAST ONE IT WAS BLINKING LIKE IT WAS ONLY HALF USED.
GREAT PRODUCT, VERY COMPACT, POWERFUL AND EASY TO USE.

Cobra JumPack is the BOMB!
Got mine back in August 2014, charged it once. My hubby's Honda S2000 had a dead battery and he tried to trickle-charge it...no go. I reminded him about the JumPack - out to the garage he goes, skeptical...but...FIRST TRY started right up! He was SO amazed at the power this little device PACKS! Works like a charm - now we own two so I can keep one in my car. Highly recommended! Thanks Cobra!

Worked better than promised !
I bought this a couple of weeks ago from ShopHQ. Who would have thought that winter would have come this early. I went out to start my car after a couple of single digit nights and daytime temps in the teens.
It was easy to connect , I got into my car and it started right up! pBefore I hooked it up it wouln't even turn over, all I got was a clicking noise. GREAT JOB COBRA !!

it does not work on truck beatties
I bought this product to jump start a 2009 Honda ridgeline, and guess what, it did nothing at all, 3 time I tried it. So, be sure you read what it says, most cars, but probably not yours.

Great product and just the right size
Just received my cobra on 9/11/14 have not had a chance to jump start a vehicle yet but from others I have read reviews on seem like a great product to have with you at all times. So I'm looking forward to seeing this power punch in action. Wish it had carrying pouch or something. .

How do I charge my cellphone? Do I need a special connector? I have a Galaxy Mega phone. I purchased 5 of these jumpacks for myself & gifts, but if I can't charge my phone I fear that the other recipients would have problems.

HOW LONG WILL THIS DEVICE REMAIN CHARGED AND OPERATIONAL WITHOUT BEING RECHARGED. IE STANDBY TIME ESTIMATE.
Please note, when stored fully charged in a dry area at room temperature, the unit can hold a charge anywhere between 8 to 10 months. We recommend recharging it every 3 to 6 months to ensure it maintains a full charge. In order to jump start a vehicle, the charge level should indicate at least 3 LED's. It is also perfectly fine to leave it plugged in at all times.

I see a "canned" answer for the device's capability of : "Please note this unit will jump start vehicles requiring up to 200A, (400A peak) starting current.". If the car battery CCA is greater than 400A, then this is not suitable. Is that correct?
Not necessarily. The CCA of the battery is always higher than what the vehicle requires to start because the battery has to crank the engine plus support all electronics in the vehicle. Most vehicles do not exceed 400A starting current.
