Confused

"Bought a pair of cobra rx-385 and was under the assumption it would work with a charge station/dock. Unfortunately I have been unable to find one to fit it which is odd given they have the same pin hookup on the bottom as my rx-685 radios so I’m at a loss."

Cheap Micro USB that comes unsoldered.

"The Micro USB failed on mine. It would have been so easy to make this a USB-C, which has much higher reliability for very little cost, but this company went the route of ever other corporation and chose the cheapest possible solution. Now I have to wedge something above and below the plug just to get it to make contact. Unfortunately, this is the only dock I can use for my ACXT 300 series radios, which leaves me in a predicament of whether to buy another set of radios (obviously from another manufacturer), or buy another one of these cheap pieces of junk and just expect that it's going to fail in a year or two."

Simple & works fine

"Simple charging dock. Nothing fancy. I wouldn't drop it from great heights, but it seems sturdy enough. We use it with the ACXT360 but it works with ACXT345 too. Just check to make sure you have the right one before you order. It uses a micro-USB cable. USB-C would be more convenient these days, but it works fine. The dock keeps trickle charging even after the batteries are full. I like to keep one radio on the dock and keep it powered on to scan for signals."
