"I bought this kit 8 months ago and already had to replace it bevause it stopped working . Ive had the replacement since July and its malfunctioned again and had to email cedar/cobra to have them send another replacement. I'm not sure if the problem lies with leaving it plugged in all the time. But I want it constantly recording even while parked . But unfortunately I'm going to try to unplug it daily to see if that works . Unfortunately Chevy took out the cigarette lighter port in 2026 years . So i have to use this ."

Is this DIY Hardwire Kit – OBDII Port to Micro-USB compatible with the SC-250R, too, and if not, what are your plans to offer such a kit for the SC-250R? (The owner manual mentions "Easy Install Hardwire Kit: 0010070-1" but I can't find it here)
