Cobra Electronics Announces new JumPack mini Portable Charger / Jump Starter

Cobra adds wireless charging and Quick Charge® compatibility to its latest release in its line of jump starters and portable power packs


LAS VEGAS, NV – October 30, 2018 – Cobra Electronics, the leading designer and marketer of award-winning automotive, mobile and consumer electronics, today announced the launch of the new Cobra JumPack® mini, the first wireless charging and Quick Charge® compatible portable jump starter on the market.  The Cobra JumPack mini features wireless charging, making it easier to charge your smart phone, and features Quick Charge compatible USB and micro USB inputs to charge your smart devices up to 78% faster.  In addition, the Cobra JumPack mini will jump start most cars & trucks with up to 8-cylinder engines.

 

Additional features of the Cobra JumPack mini include:

  • Pocket-Sized| This smart phone-sized power pack and jump starter fits in almost any back pack, purse, glove box or center console.

 

  • Powerful | With 180 Amp Starting Current and 360 Amp Peak Current, the Cobra JumPack mini has the power to jump start most vehicles including cars, light-duty trucks, ATVs and boats – multiple times.

 

  • Smart & Safe Protection Circuitry| This compact portable power pack contains a UL 2743 listed 600mAh battery with Smart Cables that protect against reverse polarity, short circuit, reverse charge, over charge and over temperature.

The new mini is the latest addition to the Cobra JumPack series which includes the Cobra JumPack, the Cobra JumPack XL, designed for larger gas and diesel engines, and the Cobra JumPack XL H2O, an all-weather version with dual jumpstarting capabilities including traditional jumper cables and through the 12V plug inside the vehicle.

The Cobra JumPack mini includes the battery pack, Smart cables, a 12V DC charger to re-charge while driving, a 120V AC wall charger to re-charge at home and a carrying case to keep everything together.

The Cobra JumPack mini will be available for sale in December on Cobra.com. The new JumPack mini will be on display in the Cobra booth #11620 at the SEMA Show in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, October 30th – November 2nd, in Las Vegas, NV.
