"I don’t like the way the Mic was design"

"Got the radio out of a wrecked company truck we were cannibalizing some climate control parts off of... Original mic lasted a few years before the wires separated at the bend at the 6 pin connector. My fault, my new truck mounts the cb up top and I was pulling on the connection for the last year. I'm sure it would still work if I hadn't done that of if I could solder I wouldn't need a new one. So I will get a cobra 6 pin 90 degree adapter right? Can't find one, noone makes one. I tried every 6 to 4 pin adapter also, none worked. Had to because this mic was out of stock for like a year and anyone who had one wanted at least 60 freaking bucks plus shipping LOL. Jokes on the price gougers though as I will never visit them again for any reason...looking at you especially cheaperthandirt. So I bought another radio instead and used that until these came in on Cobra for 20 bucks. I don't use any feature of this mic but to key it up. No Bluetooth, rewind, report, nothing. Noone is on the app and I already had a headset that's way better than the Bluetooth on the LXMAX and the new KW has Bluetooth in the DE500 stereo so... But it's a great radio AFTER YOU ADJUST THE VR6 PROPERLY. Otherwise you will get antenna warning every key. Not sure why Cobra let's the LX's out of China like that. Maybe make them in Georgia or Florida and get some pride back folks. If this mic craps out again the LXMAX is going to the shop and getting a 4 pin female put on. I have a zip tie taking the load off the connector this time though. The mic sounds awesome and noone ever said they couldn't hear me loud and clear so it does its job. I did take a star off because the last mic (dash mounted in a Mack) would rewind randomly when keyed up but the new one doesn't so far, and this review is about the LXMAXMIC in general imo so there it is."
