Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellant Radio I purchased this radio with a little bit of skepticism three years ago. After 4 cross country trips I must say this radio exceeded all my expectations. This little radio performed great and all the people I talked with said the radio came through "Loud and Proud". With the scan features and weather capability this radio is hard to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great radio regardless is size! I bought this radio 7 years ago and installed in my Jeep for the simple reason I could disconnect the handset when I don't use it. I've owned three other radio's and this one has all the functionality in a small package with great quality. Since I purchased and installed several of my friends have purchased and installed it their Jeeps. I really enjoy this radio!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice radio in limited space Handy as pockets on a shirt, if you dont have room for a 'regular' radio under the dash. Good reports on audio quality, and good sounding receive when used with an external speaker. My only nitpicks would be minor: A red LED when transmitting, and the weather receive volume could be a bit louder relative to the CB volume , but other than that its a fine little compact radio.

Is the 1/8" speaker output compatable with the auxiliary 1/8" audio input on my Cars audio system?

Asked by: ChileRick
Yes, it should be compatible. However the output of the CB radio is mono, not stereo. To see other frequently asked questions visit: https://www.cobra.com/support/faqs Should you have additional questions, please contact our Customer Care Group at 773 889 3087. Thank you for choosing Cobra!

(c75-wx st) With my volume on high I can just barely hear it? A friend has the same radio and if we are 200yards apart then we are unable to hear each other. We both have just install the cbs

Asked by: oldtimer
Please note, lack of audio may be caused by one of the following: 1. Poor (lose) antenna connection: Disconnect and reconnect ant cable from the radio. 2. Grounded antenna. (check the coax for bends or pinches, door or window closing on it) 3. Defective speaker: try plugging an external speaker into the back of the small ( mic junction) metal box to see if you get audio that way. 4. Poor antenna (SWR) calibration. Use an external SWR meter to check antenna tuning. If I install a 75WXST to a switched power lead, will I lose my memory settings every time I turn off the ignition? And if I use a constant lead, how much power will be used with the mic detached?

Asked by: codeman
The radio will not lose memory settings while using the switched lead. While connected to a permanent power source, the radio uses less than .500mA. Frequently asked questions: https://www.cobra.com/support/faqs Thank you for choosing Cobra!
