What is the Cobra Tag?
The Cobra Tag is a small key FOB that helps keep you from losing your valuables.
Attach the Cobra Tag sensor to your keys, purse, computer bag, or any other item you want to protect from loss. The sensor communicates with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and will remind you if you leave your phone or valuables behind. The Cobra Tag is also a two-way finder. Tap the button on the Cobra Tag to ring your smartphone. If you are looking for your Cobra Tag protected item, use the phone’s application to make the Cobra Tag ring. To secure your phones data, the powerful PhoneHalo application can be set to lock your phone when out of range of your tagged item. Never lose your valuables again!
If your smartphone gets separated from the Cobra Tag, both the smartphone and the Cobra Tag will ring.
The free app lets you configure and control the Cobra Tag.
Lets say you’re at a party and you want to leave. You start walking to your car and suddenly the Cobra Tag on your keychain starts to ring. (Thank goodness you were just reminded not to leave your cell phone behind!)
The same thing happens if you have your phone and you get too far from the Cobra Tag. You will be reminded not to leave your keys (or, whatever the Cobra Tag is attached to)!
What phones are supported?

The BT225 UNI works with Android and Blackberry smartphones, plus these Apple models:
- iPhone 3

How to use it?
- First charge the Tag using the supplied USB cable. When the light turns blue it is fully charged.
- While the Tag is charging, go to the market/store on your smartphone and download the free app. You can find it by searching for “cobra tag”.
- Make sure that the Tag is turned on. When you press the button you should see a blue light, which indicates that it is turned on.
- Access the Bluetooth® in your phone and go through the pairing process just like any other Bluetooth® device.
- Launch the app.
- Attach the tag to whatever you want to protect.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you pair the Tag to Android phones, it may say “Paired but not connected”. This is normal and does not indicate a problem. It means that the Tag is not connected to the audio on your phone, but that is because it is not a Bluetooth® headset and does not need an audio link. The Tag should work fine!

The battery life is short.
Battery life under normal use is up to seven days. Please note, however, that if the Tag gets out of range of your phone, it will go into a mode where it is constantly looking for the phone. This mode consumes extra battery power. If your Tag is frequently out of range for extended periods, you can conserve battery power by turning off the Tag when not in use. To turn off your Tag, press and hold the button on the Tag for about 10 seconds until it beeps and the light flashes red three times. To turn it back on, press and hold the button for a few seconds.
