Cobra Makes a Big Splash with its Latest VHF
New Addition to Cobra Marine Product Line Provides Big Features in a Small Package.
MIAMI (February 14, 2008) — Cobra Electronics (NASDAQ: COBR) today announced it is adding to its extensive line of marine radios with the launch of the new MR HH125 handheld VHF. The radio is a compact, full-featured radio that complements Cobra’s current line offering professional-level features at recreational prices.
The MR HH125 has a unique design ideal for handheld use and storage in a pocket or small compartment. Its design provides flexible uses -- from a main radio on a small recreational boat or as a portable backup on larger vessels. The backlit LCD and keypad offers effortless viewing in low light conditions, automatically turning off to conserve battery power. Additionally, the unit offers the choice of one or three watts of power for clear communication over both short and long distances.
The MR HH125 also comes equipped with features Cobra customers have come to rely on, such as 10 NOAA weather channels, All Hazards alert and long-lasting rechargeable NiMH batteries.
Cobra's new radio is on sale now at an MSRP of $79.95 at major marine and outdoor equipment retailers. The company offers a complete line of VHF products in a wide range of prices and features.
